Senior Internal Auditor EMEA (m/f)

Job Description:
This Senior Internal Auditor will report to the EMEA Audit Director, who reports to TI’s Chief Audit Executive. This position is unique in that internal audit is one of the few organizations within TI that reports to the Board of Directors. Because it is a corporate-wide function, internal auditors are able to see processes and businesses all over TI and throughout the world. Audit Services provide independent internal control assurance services for the benefit of TI management and the Board of Directors and partners with TI businesses to promote cost-effective, innovative solutions to mitigate risk and safeguard company assets.
Basic Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have a proactive work style, ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
Additionally, the candidate will be expected to have the following:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in German is also a plus
  • Fundamental knowledge of GAAP and SEC accounting requirements and regulations
  • Sound knowledge of fundamental auditing skills with financial audit background from a public accounting firm or internal audit department of at least 5 years (public accounting background preferred)
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills, business acumen and judgment
  • Solid project management and team-leading skills and experience
  • Ability to learn new processes and concepts quickly and be very adaptable to changing priorities and schedules
  • Travel up to 25%, including assignments outside of Germany. Trips may be two to three weeks in duration

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
The candidate should be a graduate qualified accountant (CPA, CA, PIIA, MIIA) or European equivalent
