The EPO offers a wide range of compensation and benefits to its staff, pensioners and families, who altogether account for more than 23 000 individuals. As an international organisation, the EPO acts like a state by providing a sustainable social security framework covering pensions, allowances and remuneration schemes. This is paramount for a self-financed organisation that generates its own revenue and must provide current staff with the best and fairest packages, while also caring for past and future generations of EPO employees. To ensure the competitiveness of the package it offers staff and to propose evidence-based measures to decision-makers, the EPO must rely on strong social data and analyses, regular benchmarking and internal and external studies.

These missions are driven by the Principal Directorate (PD) Welfare and Remuneration with the support of the Directorate Compensation and Benefits and the new Directorate Prospects and Studies. Directorate Prospects and Studies provides and monitors a wide range of recurrent or ad hoc statistics, dashboards, reports and studies to measure the efficiency, fairness and competitiveness of the social package. It also measures the evolution and trends of key factors such as demographics, economic development and salary mass evolution. In addition, it conducts studies and benchmarking with other international organisations, private entities and national social security schemes. It monitors and analyses overall impact on the EPO's future liabilities and helps shape the future financial and social landscape of the EPO as well as future policies in close collaboration with PD Finance and HR units and in full support of the long-term sustainability of the EPO.

We are now looking for the new director to lead the Prospects and Studies team.
