Paladin operates in the mineral resource sector with focus on uranium and has projects in Australia and Africa. In line with its long term vision to establish as a uranium producer, the Company€™s strategy is to identify, acquire and evaluate advanced uranium projects. Since 1998, during a period of sustained downturn in global uranium markets, Paladin had been accumulating a quality portfolio of advanced uranium projects each having production potential.
Sagt alles... Uran... Entweder man glaubt dran oder nicht. Profitiert ausserdem von Cameco Problemen.

Darfs noch ein bisserl Volumenchart Spekulation sein. SAU wäre so ein Zock.

    So long.

    https://www.dynatec.ca/press/Press_20061103.pdf

ACT kränkelt dagegen leider ein wenig.

    Pdn im stabilen Uptrend.

SAU konsolidiert um 0.12. Gute Einstiegsmöglichkeit.

    Update:

    ACT: https://www.activecontrol.com/pdf/Nov_28_06.pdf
Habe bei 0.10 nachgekauft. Gestern kleines Up mit erhöhten Volumen.

ActiveMine(TM) approved by West Virginia coal mine safety regulator

TORONTO, June 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - Active Control Technology
    Inc. (TSX-V:ACT) announced today that ActiveMine(TM), a two-way voice
communications and tracking system that operates on a 100% wireless Wi-Fi
network, has been approved by West Virginia's Office of Miners' Health,
    Safety and Training.
The West Virginia agency is the first government regulator to certify
that ActiveMine is fully functional in accordance with new safety rules
requiring emergency communications and tracking systems in underground coal
mines. The agency's technical reviewers have verified that the technology,
which was developed for all types of mining environments, meets West
Virginia performance and safety standards. An independent engineer also
confirmed ActiveMine's capabilities and witnessed it operating in a
producing underground coal mine, as part of the approval process.
The certification means that ActiveMine is approved for sale in West
Virginia, the leading state for underground coal mining and safety. Under
West Virginia rules, only approved communications and locating systems can
be included in mine safety plans, which must be submitted by mine operators
by the end of next month. The systems must be installed in all of the
state's more than 150 underground coal mines by July 31, 2008.
ACT has also submitted applications seeking "intrinsically safe" (IS)
certification by the federal Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA),
which requires that all underground coal mine communications and tracking
systems be spark-proof. ActiveMine was designed to meet all relevant
federal and state mine safety regulations, including the requirement for
two-way voice communications and not just text messaging, as set out by
    MSHA.
"Underground coal mine operators can now be confident that ActiveMine
delivers the communications and locating performance required under West
Virginia's tough safety rules," said Steve Barrett, President and CEO, ACT.
"We have the technology and infrastructure in place to help them meet the
    regulations on time."
Barrett added, "In addition to the safety aspect, our system provides
mine operators with powerful tools to improve their day-to-day operations
    and bottom line results."
ActiveMine offers exclusive features and benefits that are not
currently provided with other commercially-available mine communications
and tracking systems. It is the only wireless system that:

    1. Is designed to meet federal MINER Act requirements for wireless
    ---------------------------------------------------------------
systems as established in MSHA policies.
    ----------------------------------------
According to the Administration's Program Policy Letter # P06-V-10,
"MSHA interprets the term 'wireless,' as used in the MINER Act, to
mean that no wired component of the system exists underground where
it may be damaged by fire or explosion. Post-accident communication
technology would be considered acceptable if, based on its location
in the mine and the history of mine explosions and fires in the mine,
it is likely to withstand the event intact." (Refer to:
    https://www.msha.gov/regs/complian/ppls/2006/PPL06-V-10.asp).

    2. Is less susceptible to mechanical damage from rock fall, vehicles and
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------
other incidents because it uses a 100% wireless Wi-Fi network
    -------------------------------------------------------------
backbone (also known as a "backhaul").
    --------
ActiveMine's 5.8 GHz wireless nodes (also known as 'routers' or
'access points') communicate with one another without hardwire
connection. This is in contrast with other available systems, which
use hard-wired leaky feeder or Ethernet backbones.

    3. Is capable of providing high-speed and high-bandwidth data
    ----------------------------------------------------------
    communications to enhance productivity.
    ---------------------------------------
In addition to 2.4 GHz wireless two-way voice communications and
tracking, the ActiveMine network supports data services, including
streaming video, to monitor mine activities from the surface and
improve operating efficiency. By comparison, devices linked to most
leaky feeder systems can typically only transmit low-speed and
    low-bandwidth data.

    4. Uses open-standard technology that is fully compatible with most
    ----------------------------------------------------------------
other mine communications and tracking technologies, including
    ----------------------------------------------------
previously installed systems. This makes it possible for mines to add
wireless features using ActiveMine while leveraging hardwire networks
    already in place.

    5. Provides all of these enhanced capabilities at a lower 'Total Cost of
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------
Ownership' than "leaky feeder and RFID gates" (the combination of
    ---------------------------------------------
leaky feeder communication systems with locating via RFID gates).
This is possible because labor costs for installation and maintenance
of ActiveMine are lower than for all other available systems. Also
the technology is built to cost-effective "intrinsically safe"
standards, in keeping with MSHA rules.

"We're confident that ActiveMine's lower Total Cost of Ownership, along
with the operating efficiencies it makes possible, will be the primary
drivers for purchases of the system," Barrett said. "West Virginia's
regulatory approval opens the door to make those purchases possible in the
    state."
ActiveMine's unique communications and data network enables monitoring
of production, personnel and equipment in all types of surface and
underground mining environments including coal and base metal mines.

    About Active Control Technology
ACT designs and markets wireless network control and communication
systems for buildings and extreme environments. Located in Burlington,
Ontario, Canada, the company trades publicly on the TSX Venture Exchange
